I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science at George Washington University. My research focuses on international political economy, development finance, great power competition, and pharmaceutical intellectual property. I am particularly interested in the political economy of small-state agency amidst great power competition, with a regional focus on Southeast Asia. My research has been published in the Review of International Political Economy and International Affairs.

I hold an MSc in International Relations from the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) at Nanyang Technological University Singapore and a BA in International Studies from Monash University. Prior to my PhD, I was a Senior Analyst at RSIS and worked in development in Cambodia, where I also grew up from the age of four.
